Masfadat International School offers education from early learning through senior secondary school. The programme guide below is based on the current school information and can be updated by the school administrator as the curriculum develops.

Creche: 6 months to 2 years

Our early learning environment supports care, communication, movement, and a gentle introduction to structured activity. Children experience early learning play, sensory activities, nursery rhymes and songs, basic motor skills, social interaction, and rest and care time.

Nursery 1 and 2: ages 3 to 5

Nursery learning introduces children to English language, mathematics, phonics and reading, writing skills, basic science, social habits, health habits, creative arts, Quran, and Islamic studies. The goal is to build confidence and curiosity before primary school.

Primary 1 to 6: ages 6 to 11

Primary learners study English language, mathematics, quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, basic science and technology, social studies, civic education, home economics, physical and health education, agricultural science, computer studies and ICT, cultural and creative arts, religious studies, and French language.

Junior Secondary School: JSS 1 to 3

The junior secondary programme broadens academic and practical understanding through mathematics, English language, basic science, basic technology, social studies, civic education, business studies, agricultural science, physical and health education, computer studies and ICT, cultural and creative arts, home economics, religious studies, and French language.

Senior Secondary School: SS 1 to 3

Students may follow Science, Commercial, or Arts pathways. Science subjects include physics, chemistry, biology, further mathematics, animal husbandry, agricultural science, geography, computer studies, and civic education. Commercial subjects include economics, commerce, financial accounting, government, business studies, marketing, and civic education. Arts subjects include literature in English, government, religious studies, history, Nigerian languages, civic education, visual arts, music, and computer studies.

School routine

The school day includes assembly, morning lessons, a lunch break, afternoon lessons, prayer times, and closing. Friday routines follow the standard Islamic school schedule with Jumu’ah prayer. Exact schedules may vary by section and should be confirmed by the school office.
